I’ve spent, oh, nearly 15 years now doing what I do.

Love is the word, I think.

My marriage and kids aside, this is my life’s work that I take great pride in. And like my own family, one of the things I find myself attempting to do on these epicly beautiful events is to pause the time. To slow it all down. To breathe and take in this moment. As my own hair silvers, I’ve observed myself as a very sentimental person. The time passing causes me to want to hold the beauty in space. To observe it. To remember the feeling.

I read the Japanese word for this is Mono no aware.

My business is an extension of my passion. It has been one of the great joys of my life to document wedding events across the world spanning Amalfi to Geneva, Mexico City to the DR, and Seoul to Istanbul. This is an art for me, and it’s a privilege to get to work hand in hand with my clients in achieving iconic imagery we’re both excited about. I shoot on intuition, and struggle putting labels on images I make, but many times the results are a mix of timeless and classic imagery while combining the aesthetics of contemporary art and fashion. The broad majority of my work is shot on 120mm and 35mm analog film where I find a lovely nostalgic quality that feels missing in our digital era.

My inspiration and meaning are found in my wife and two children who are my light. You can find me and my family on a beach in SoCal. Always lookin for what’s coming.
